Students will be grouped by age and clinic times finalized once groupings are complete.
Student Strength Clinics are designed to get young athletes in love with lifting! Learning body mechanics and mind-muscle connection at a young age is key in developing strong athletes and preventing injury long term. Whether your student is an avid sports player, or not into sports at all, Student Strength Clinics will help them build confidence, feel good in their own skin, and create a solid foundation that will take them into adulthood.
Clinics are co-ed, 45 minute sessions, working on building foundational strength with a focus on the three main lifts: Squat, Bench & Deadlift, and filling in with accessory work. Students will learn proper form and technique with an emphasis on mind/muscle connection for better overall body control, increasing power and strength, and decreasing risk of injury. Sessions are 2-3 students grouped by age, allowing personal attention to form and individual progression. Students will leave stronger, more confident and with skills that will translate onto the field, and into their day to day activities.
*Students should be prepared with comfortable gym-appropriate clothing, sneakers and water.
